Little Mary Avagail is such a sweetie. She was born premature so our "newborn" session was actually when she was a month old. She is under 6 pounds still but very alert and healthy. She wasn't sleepy much at all :)
And you may recognize that sweet big brother in these picture. I have taken his pictures twice. So thankful for "repeat clients" and friends.
You know, fall and spring are prime picture times for photography. But, what about winter??? Poor winter...
I had an outdoor engagement session downtown this past weekend and I might now have to say that winter is my new FAVORITE for photo sessions! The day was cold and overcast but the clean simplicity of backgrounds really made this beautiful couple "pop". Kayla and Aaron are the stunning focus of their pictures....don't you think!?
My favorite engaged couple and I headed out to The Waters in Montgomery for a fall photo shoot. The light...the trees...the couple were stunning. June will be here before we know it!

One of my favorite things about the photography business is meeting new people. I just love getting to know families and their children. The Taylor family was no exception. What a darling family. They wanted some shots at their home so we just played in the backyard. And had a great time!
I have had a blast this fall shooting my first mini sessions. Here is a little recap of the clients who gave me "permission" to share. I will post another preview of the remaining clients after Christmas cards go out :) I'm so very thankful for all of my clients who have made this fall full and full of fun for my photography business. I truly want to thank you for your business and your appreciation of my work! Enjoy.
A sweet family I had the opportunity to shoot back in October. Julie, the mother was my Bible Study teacher this semester and it was amazing to sit under her teaching and then get a chance to hang out with her family. They are as adorable as they look in these pictures. And funny!!! This family has more inside jokes...great times! And I almost forgot to mention they brought along Toby. The most well behaved dog EVER. Thanks Stewart family for a great afternoon!
A sneak peek for a sweet family I had the honor of meeting and taking pictures for this past weekend. We dodged the rain and storms and got some shots at their home. They have a great place with lots of trees, grass and "adventure trails". Perfect for little boys to roam and play. And play we did! Enjoy G family!!!
I'm really enjoying newborn photography and loved shooting this newborn and his brother...and his pretty mommy, who said she didn't want to be in pictures. I was sneaky. I love capturing mama's and their newborns. One day these shots will be the ones your children treasure because let's face it, moms are behind the camera documenting their baby's childhood for the next 18 years. It is rare we get in the picture. My hope with every newborn shoot is to capture sweet moments like these in the most flattering and timeless way. Without further ado, sweet baby M!
